unfortunately mid-2025 was so awful for me that I couldn't draw for months, so i can't do a proper art summary ;_;

but i think i really turned things around in the last few months

i audited a drawing class at my local college in the fall

here are two of my favorite pieces i did for the class
ink and paper, black and white artwork for an exercise in three-point perspective. there is a series of floating tanks containing a giant octopus and its tentacles. another octopus is squished into a too-small tank beneath it, squirting ink. its tentacles drape over a box bearing the words "all you can eat!" a container of large severed tentacles is in the bottom right corner. digital artwork for an exercise exploring pattern and pareidolia. (i drew it digitally before drawing it in ink for the class, but i like the digital version best.) the piece is two halves of a whole. on the left, there's a cloud with rain and lightning over an umbrella and swirling waves. half of a face is crying tears with words written inside such as "sad, why, end" a bloodshot eye is the center of a sun on the right side, which is split into 9 sections with various patterns, emojis, junk food, pills, art supplies, and flowers.
