Better than nothing yet true: When you think of social media as a public health risk (esp for vulnerable young minds), then govts are handing responsibility to people to micromanage - like they did with Covid. But public health is a communal task. Everyone must be protected.

We cycled along, and hit the next part of Green Lanes, home to two lanes of parking, and no cycle lanes. It was time for another signature Mark shrug. He said:

“You can have 2 of these:

~ Two way traffic

~ Parking on both sides

~ Space for cycling.

Remember the 19 year old driver who exited a Burlingame parking lot, cut off an e-bike that the police said had right-of-way, caused a crash, then accelerated forward to jump a curb and crush a 4 year old?
