In a world of disaster capitalism, be a rebel: ride a bicycle and buy your clothes 2ndhand from charity shops.

Also, all the best people have trees in their bio.
Now tell me, where will your next bike ride be?

In these times of rancour & division, it’s comforting to find things on which we can all agree: Kent County Council, for example, really does provide a perfect illustration of how well Reform would run the country. I agree with Nigel!

It's my birthday soon(ish) and as usual, I want a present from YOU:
I want you to plant a tree. I don't care what kind of tree, but I do care very much that you nurture and protect that little tree, so it can grow into a mighty tree.

Dartmoor is England's last true wilderness, and receives millions of visitors each year. It's easy to see why - Dartmoor is beautiful. From the annual Ten Tors event for school kids, to the Dartmoor Classic sportive, to smaller events like Dartmoor In A Day, to just casual visitors and families having a picnic, Dartmoor caters to all. And therein lies the problem.

Starmer and Reeves explicitly told us that reversing decisions on winter fuel allowances and two child benefit caps were impossible due to the state of the economy.

They moved on fuel allowances they’re about to move on the benefit cap.

They lied, but now they’re getting desperate it’s pathetic.

If we're talking about bias, why do BBC politics programmes, from Politics Live to the Laura Kuennsberg Show, still always begin with a look at the newspaper front pages, which are overwhelmingly biased in one direction. Helps frame the entire news agenda and debate in their favour

People in the UK aren't getting transphobia from weird niche online communities.

They're getting it from the prime minister, the BBC, politicians and the newspapers in every newsagents in the country.
when this piece of shit is asked what good phone pouches are supposed to do, shs responds glibly about online radicalisation. where else would children learn to be transphobic in the tolerant UK, after all? ridiculous
On Brianna's 19th birthday, this morning I joined @cheshirepcc.bsky.social and the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project Phone Free Education campaign at the launch at Jodrell Bank of a new £150k initiative to make Cheshire the first county in the UK where ALL state high schools have lockable phone pouches.

It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻
