With Tom Lehrer's passing, I suppose this is a moment to share the story of the prank he played on the National Security Agency, and how it went undiscovered for nearly 60 years.

A podcast that looks like it could be about science, but that's rarely the case as comedian @lauralexx.bsky.social tries to learn science (sometimes) from her (non comedian) brother (when he can be bothered to prepare a lesson).
Prepare for Sibling Bickery at it's finest

Also has THE nicest fanbase
Do you need a podcast that's relentlessly nice and also there's loads of it? How about this one where my (noncomedian) brother Ron tries to help me learn science and I scream at him?

Start at episode one and make your way through. It's a cult but like, a good one, you know?

I have a podcast (don't we all).

It's very lighthearted and nice... my real life (non comedian) brother Ron is teaching me science and I'm teaching him how to be obtuse.

When you decide to fall in love with Lexx Ed - START FROM EPISODE 1 AND WORK THROUGH... it works better that way. You'll see.

Sad to learn today of the passing of Mike Fielder, one-time conductor of South West Surrey Concert Band (SWSCB). An absolute legend in his time among all who knew him. Many happy memories of rehearsals and tours aboard during my teens. Enduring friendships made @trumpetmike.bsky.social 🫶🏻

A few years ago, when we were all in lockdown, one of the groups I am lucky enough to work with recorded their version of the classic "Snow Waltz," beloved by brass players everywhere.
This is an annual reminder of why I enjoy my job - it's all about the students.

Should be compulsory reading for all musicians - professional and amateur.

I don't have many followers on here - but if any of you are near London - go and see Laura

Saw this show in Guildford and it was HILARIOUS!
Ugh. Was so looking forward to the London date of the tour. I know you’re not meant to say this out loud but it just hasn’t sold enough tickets to feel good about how it’s going to be in such a big room. I don’t get it. Everything else has sold beautifully and London I just can’t crack
