There's a new English release of Mushishi, lettered by Phil Christie (@kernedout.bsky.social). I adore how Urushibara-sensei utilizes texture in her art, and how the sound effects inherit that texture. Phil does an amazing job replicating that with subtitled SFX. Notes in alt text!

Hot tip for freelancers working from home in a place where they can't turn on the heat (or turn it on higher), or have no insulation (hi Japan): get full ear covering headphones, they keep your ears toasty. earbuds might be light and easy, but headphones, coupled with a hoodie, keep ears & head warm

Having lived in the US, you guys have no idea how allergic the US is about being inconvenienced by the same things it puts everyone else through.
Sanction us. Bar entry with US passports. Upper middle class Americans are so used to being isolated from politics having any impact in their actual lives that canceling their European vacations en masse might actually stop this.
