"In theater" is a nice touch for describing Minneapolis. Worth noting the people involved, from Trump to Miller to Noem to Homan to Bovino to the majority of ICE and CBP goons, have never served in the military. They're playing out a war fantasy, dressing up in army costumes, like incredible losers.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Markey was still voting against inter-racial marriage in 1994, right?
I dont know if I'm more flabbergasted at Markey blatantly lying about this or seeing *so* many ppl on here just willfully lap up those lies

I know this is screaming into the void at this point but we cannot get rid of ICE until 2029 at the minimum bc thats how much longer Trump (or Vance) is president until. Anyone telling you we can abolish it "right now" is lying to you—but its v clear a lot of ppl on this site prefer to be lied to

kinda crazy that people had to get murdered on camera for this glaringly obvious reality to be confronted
Finally. A comprehensive look at the “neo-Nazi .. ethnic cleansing” content coming out of “the offices of the White House .. using official government accounts ..”

You walk into this bar and show your ICE mugshot, you don't pay a dime.
Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

Confedophiles. Every single one of ‘em.
Today’s crises come into focus once we understand that we are well into a war of Southern aggression—a neo-Confederate project to remake the entire country in its own image and win the war the South never conceded.

It is wild to me that a military incursion to steal another country’s resources so the president can have a personal slush fund in Qatar is like the 5th most scandalous thing currently happening.
this is a straightforward impeachable offense for trump, vance, rubio and every other person down the line who enabled it and the framers would have thought impeachment for it did not go nearly far enough
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

Once again, it’s been clear forever that pussy-signaling (making it OK for weak-willed pussies to act like weak-willed pussies in public) is Trump’s superpower.
one of the agents said “okay we know” when we were whistling so i leaned in and whistled louder and he threatened to pepper spray me. i then said “are you scared of a fucking whistle dawg” and he very meekly said “no i’m not scared of a whistle”

nuts how many americans have been like “trump will be my vehicle for righting the wrongs against my grandparents by crushing [ethnic group/lower classes/communists/some combination of those] in my home country”
Absolutely crazy that Mehmet Oz is calling Armenian a "dialect" while trying to gin up a crackdown on alleged systemic fraud (which he blames on ethnic organized crime)

I think I need to make a clarifying addition here: when I say “Democrats”, I don’t just mean elected officials. I’m talking every person who calls themselves a Democrat has an obligation to get out and persuade people, learn to push back against RW media bullshit and change minds, everywhere.
One of the main reasons why Democrats have to lash themselves to a permissive immigration system, as a value, is because we live in a country with multiple RW television media networks. You are not going to ever “win” the game by meeting folks on that side, you have to oppose them.

100%. I honestly believe political leaders ask too little of people. The thinking is you need an extraordinarily low bar - so ask people for money or to sign something. People want to be part of something and they're eager to do real meaningful work in defense of their community and their rights.
I have begun to think that Minnesota pushback to ICE was unique and a model because it gave people something to do. It wasn’t about just going out in streets for rallying purposes. People had a mission: videos, whistles, information and communication flow to communities. They had something to do.
