So yesterday's Verizon outage drops them to below 99.9 uptime, or a scant 3 nines. Which honestly is not too bad (for a whole year) except that it happened all at once and over the rest of the year will probably drop more.

It is infuriating to open up LinkedIn in 2026 and see the ai thought leaders finally come around on how useful these agents are. Most are still boosting these agents even though they are proving more and more useless and unpredictable.

They might have dumped it in a donation bin rather than sold it; I don't know how a phone would wind up in a machine like that, and without having been wiped or anything. It's not completely clear to me whether the goal was money, or a quick disposal of the stolen phone avoiding paperwork or hassle.
