I think about the experience that I had with my first computer like this too, and realize that there's no way that the computers we have now, will someday be used as 'charging' embedded computers. That just seems insane right now because what would they even be doing.
I have a little white brick I plug in to power my Mac. It has more computing power than my first computer. I played games and used visicalc and wrote programs on that computer. I’m just a little older than you.

All that ai slop paper world has really exposed is that simply handing in a paper for a letter grade is not a very good system. Which we already knew. There are better ways to demonstrate knowledge and writing a paper is a first step not the end result.
"It's impossible to tell definitively if someone is using AI!"

—Someone who has never contemplated the plagiarism-detection mechanism of, for instance, asking a student what a word they used in their paper means.

The reason he has to keep complaining that he’s canceled is cause he’s not funny and has no new jokes. It’s the helicopter joke over and over.
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

If pardoned all the weed convictions we’d run out of slave labor really quick.
Weather it’s Joe Biden pardoning kids who were caught with a couple ounces of weed or Donald Trump pardoning the Honduran president who smuggled in 400 tons of cocaine, both presidents were soft on drugs.

Please stop speaking on behalf of software developers. People like this guy keep saying that AI is good at coding but this is objectively false without stating the types of queries it (and stack overflow) can handle.
I think that may be the core division here: if you are an author or an artist the cons of generative AI very likely outweigh the pros for you

If you are a software developer the opposite is true
