Here the story about my ban and why conflating HRT with GAHT is anti-trans and harmful
There are many misperceptions about taking testosterone — including among trans men — but the small amount Jules Sherred takes does not translate to bulging biceps. Those are the result of many hours of training, he said.
Changed Rules Will Shut a Trans Bodybuilder Out of Competition | The Tyee
The Canadian association that regulates the sport will no longer allow gender-affirming hormone therapy, citing American rules.

@magpie.tips this is why you don't see any of those fucking balloon dog statues in Scotland. They have TASTE.
Related, at one point there was a statue of Mel Gibson from Braveheart near this tower. It was deeply unpopular and removed in 2008.
It takes a special talent to make a piece of art so terrible that they have to put a cage around your statue titled "FREEDOM" because people keep vandalizing it.

Everyone gets a turn at the "Nothing is Promised" post, today I have that unhappy duty.
I know we're all fighting a tide of dumb bullshit. Take some time to get hang out. Tell some jackass jokes. Take a selfie together. Share the burdens of your worries and find the joys (big & small) of friendship.

This applies regardless of how you book - not just directly through the airline!
If your agent/third party site isn’t responding/assisting, you can approach the carrier directly, but it should be handled by the booking channel you purchased through whenever possible

Friendly reminder: If your flight gets canceled or massively delayed in the coming weeks and you booked directly with the airline, you are entitled to a refund, not just a voucher. But you have to decline any rebooked flight, credit, miles, or voucher they offer.

I would put more money on continuing to harvest infinite energy from the sun over assuming that forcing everyone to use The Machine The Lies To You is the steady basis of an entire economy
A fun question. In 5 years time, what looks better? The US’s enormous bet & capex on AI? Or China’s equally enormous bet and capex on renewables?
China has made cheap, clean energy available in huge quantities. The world should take the win econ.st/4oqFszB

I think a lot about the story Carl Reiner told: he’d have been a sewing machine repairman if not for a free WPA drama class. That led to other theater work, to Sid Caesar, to Mel Brooks, and all the rest. All because of one free class paid for by a government that felt the arts were worth teaching.
you ever think about the works progress administration? I sure do. I wish that was a thing now. I would be so glad to contribute my labor to like. A random ass local bridge
