Sal Buscema was one of my favorite artists. Between his epic runs on The Defenders and Rom, he drew some of the greatest comics of all time. When you saw a villain’s face contorted into a black trapezoid of a grimace, interrupted by a stalactite of spittle, you knew you were in good hands. RIP Sal.

I read a book where a character was described as having a head shaped “like an upside down potato.”
I got so mad I threw the book across the street.
After a minute I went and retrieved it, but I’m still mad at the idea that potatoes have a uniform shape OR a right side up.

They just tear-gassed us. They tried to run us over in a van holding a peaceful protester. They shot us with pepper balls. They dragged another protester into the facility.
