🌄 From the Cleveland Museum of Art collection, these oil paintings capture autumn’s glow — forest paths, sunlit hills, & mountains brushed with color.
First is View of Schroon Mountain, Essex County, NY, After a Storm, 1838 by Thomas Cole.

Continuing the celebration of autumn’s beauty from the Cleveland Museum of Art collection:
🍂 Autumn Scene in the Adirondacks, 1877 by William Hart
🍂 Autumn in the Catskills, 1873 by Jervis McEntee
🍂 The Golden Hour, 1865 by Samuel Palmer
Each captures the glow & serene atmosphere of the season.

I firmly believe the failure to cover Trump’s abhorrent behavior comes from the toxic solipsism of the political media, which is obsessed with being seen as serious, sees Trump’s indiscretions as a kind of sensationalist trap for less sophisticated minds, and applauds itself for not falling for it
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

A good day to let everyone know we have submitted Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile for Best Live Action Short at the Oscars.

If you know anybody in the Academy who is part of the process, it's in the portal. Get us shortlisted and nominated.

An easy way to prove you, too, are not an elite pedophile!

This is a great point that I'm not sure a lot of people realize.
Raskin: "The DOJ hasn't released any of these emails that mention Trump's name & identify his role in all these activities. Those came from the Epstein estate. So this is a demonstration the govt is deliberately withholding the info everybody is actually looking for & could be damaging to Trump"

Something that's lost in the back and forth on whether or not Trump *did* anything to Giuffre in the "many hours" he spent with her:

In 2000, Giuffre was 16. Trump was 56. Epstein was 47. What, exactly, were grown men 3x her age doing with a 16-year-old w/o anyone else present in the first place?

Chris, you’re probably pretty affluent, but apparently not rich enough to know people put up with all sorts of illiterate subnormal bullshit from rich people.

Landon appears to have been using his NYT email account, and HR and IT had access to those emails for nearly a decade and they don't seem to address any of that in the statement where they insinuate that they had every reason to review Landon's email correspondence with Epstein

Wait, I'm supposed to believe that the convicted child sex trafficker who was inexplicably moved to a minimum security prison after an interview with the president's personal lawyer and who the president's allies have been portraying as a victim has blackmail material on the president?

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

LTJr’s last byline for the NYT was 2.5 weeks before the Miami Herald Epstein story dropped in November 2018, if we are trying to establish a timeline that might be more accurate than the one the NYT told NPR.

Another thing this email trove has convinced me of is that NYT has been actively and consciously helping Trump since 2015. It wasn't just casual sexism, double standards, and political reporting Kayfabe. They were doing catch and kill

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills: the emails from Landon Thomas has his New York Times signature block...he was employed by NY Times at the time. He was communicating directly with Epstein about Trump, and was given incriminating information about Trump. It's been in NYT's possession since 2015

Also important to remember that everyone involved in the coverup -- whether formally or informally -- is part of the exact same conspiracy against the victims and against the nation.
