In Sep '23 this John Snow Project* article drew together the science on Covid viral persistence, advancing a hypothesis with implications so great most prefer to pretend it's not happening*.

I know two people who were diagnosed with Alzheimer's after COVID. One was 35, the other 64, when they were diagnosed.

One simple decision could indelibly alter the trajectory of life: To mask or not to mask.

Imagine if instead of reading about this in a British tabloid, you were hearing this from your concerned family doctor, who was also masked in an #N95, running an air cleaner in their consulting room, with the window slightly open (in wintry locales).

Imagine that.

Instead, after 6 years, no...

Reminder that just a month ago the Swiss Government rejected using Palantir in any role in Switzerland's Government.

Because they posed a 'catastrophic' threat.

I'm pleased to welcome Andrew Rosindell to Reform. With any luck most people will have forgotten he was a Tory MP, because he didn't come into Parliament for nearly two years while he was being investigated for sexual assault and rape.

Government has done well in securing record offshore wind capacity. Renewables are the future!

But when the power reaches our homes, too much of it goes straight out the windows of our cold leaky houses.

So now it's time for govt to insulate every home that needs it.

But he must still be held to account for what he is: a purveyor of child pornography.

Plaid Cymru and the Greens are surging in Wales, according to this latest poll.

Where’s the media narrative around this? Where are the stories saying Farage is failing? When will Labour try to regain ground by appealing to Plaid & Green voters, not just copy Reform?

I would have summarised this as “telegraph and others are full of shit” but this chap has gone above and beyond explaining exactly how they’re full of shit, which I do respect.
This thread responds to Prof. Christian Dunn’s Telegraph piece on #climate communication.

I argue it misdiagnoses public disengagement, underplays escalating scientific risk, & reproduces a media narrative that has actively shaped, not merely reflected, public resistance to climate action 🧵

Americans have been quietly plundering #Greenland 🇬🇱 for over 100 years, since a Navy officer chipped fragments off the #CapeYork iron meteorite

However, the greatest value of Greenland for humanity is not its strategic location or potential mineral resources, but its ice.

The risk of neurological degeneration after Covid has been discussed and been a concern in the community for years.

It is not reassuring to see this research.

Covid is not mild.

Fires and Fascism.

Showing at The Gregson, #Lancaster on the 10th February with Q&A.

Connecting the accelerating #ClimateEmergecy with #UKPolitics (& global politics).
Jan and Feb tour dates for my film 'Fires and Fascism' announced!

I’ll be attending each screening in person for a discussion afterwards about community, what might be drawing people towards Reform, and sharing ideas about what to do next.

'The long-term impact of COVID-19 may be consequential years after the infection and give rise to long-term illnesses including neurocognitive problems similar to what is seen in Alzheimer's disease'.

Cut out flying and you shred skiing’s carbon footprint. And opting for a high-altitude resort that needs less artificial snow makes it even greener. Les Arcs in the French Alps ticks both boxes
