I know the way relationships and romantic love are portrayed in our society differs a lot from ours. It’s easy to compare your life to the norm, even when life as a bedbound, disabled and severely ill person is totally different. We are allowed to define what love and a relationship look like to us.

Hundreds of teachers died in the first wave. To this day, many people think none did, because govt convinced people Covid wouldn't spread in schools! Thousands are still struggling with ongoing health issues. Too many had to quit teaching because of it.

I will always remember the 'public don't need masks' line - but underneath it all was the other story that we didn't have enough masks for health care.
The public did need masks, we just didn't have enough, so they lied we didn't need them... until we did.
It was all there to be seen.
