I still use the other website for gymnastics and Irish twitter so if I could just find all of those here that'd be swell

When Dunnes staff refused to handle S African goods they were denounced by politicians from FF/FG, as well as "business leaders". The same groups blocking the OTB today. They were spat on, beaten by Gardaí and followed by Special Branch. It took 3 years to shame the govt. into acting. Reluctantly.

The only truly irreversible thing a trans child is likely to do is take their own life. "What if they do something irreversible?" actually means "theyre not allowed to make a decision!"

You cant undo or reverse any decision you make, you can simply change your mind later and handle the consequences

Anyone have a good alternative to the New York Times games? Clevergoat just isn't cutting it for me, and I need my morning affirmation that I'm smart.

Comhghairdeas to all the Irish football fans, who willingly put themselves through pain again and again, on finally getting a moment of joy.

Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

A genuine embarrassment and national shame that this man is still platformed by our media and in the pro-Palestine movement

When Mary ‘May’ McGee died last week, tributes poured in for the woman whose Supreme Court battle in 1973 legalised contraception in Ireland.

Her nephew has written a tribute to the incredible woman who fought the state on contraception ban.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

For those keeping count, Simon Harris "took to social media" to decry the shooting of Charlie Kirk the following day. He's gone cycling today, apparently.
'Member all the Irish wankers bemoaning "political violence" when Charlie Kirk was murdered - has anyone seen if they have anything to say about the attempted murder of women and children in the Drogheda IPAS centre?
No?
Funny, that.

I object to the term "put families at risk" when you could have said "attempted to kill dozens of innocent people".
I condemn in the strongest terms the deeply disturbing incident at the IPAS centre in Drogheda. To put vulnerable families, including young children, at risk is abhorrent and has no place in our society.

Our thoughts are with those affected by this horrifying experience.

This week’s column is about how FG and FF have responded to the election results.

"When history judges us, it won’t ask how “agile” we were.

It will ask who we housed, who we fed, who we sheltered, who we lifted up when the lift got stuck.

That’s the only kind of fast that matters."
