It Hunts You was an old experimetal horror game I made for a Haunted PS1 jam. I wanted to emulate those awkward, very early first person games, letting the monster feel otherworldly by not being bound to the same technical constraints as the rest of the world.

Necromolds is heckin' rad as flip.

Simple rules for kids who want to smash plasticine monsters, layers of advanced rules and deeper lore for people of any age who want a more strategic experience while also smashing plasticine monsters.
I don’t have a huge audience on Bluesky yet, but if you could share this post, it’d help me find my boardgamers, wargamers, and all the overall rad folks out there. I’d really appreciate it! 😈🤘

Liero!

A staple of my childhood this. Played in slow motion on an old machine with a 5" floppy drive and barely capable of running it.
From my 2022 "Liero" (1998) match with @obsurveyor.bsky.social 😄💥

Its been many years since I've turned whole isometric rooms into knee deep red soup like this in the likes of Alien Shooter Vengeance, a game with unexpected depth and a steep level of escalation that I have a lot of love for.

This looks like it could match that. and hopefully exceed it.

Do not buy GTA.
Idk that it bodes well that a corporation can say "we fired these people for [describes union organizing activity]" and a judge will find that this doesn't seem to mean that they were fired for union organizing activity
BREAKING: A UK judge has *denied* interim pay to the 31 employees fired by Rockstar Games last year, saying she "was unable to conclude that it appears likely that the tribunal will find that the principal reason for the claimants’ dismissal" was union organizing www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

"average british person hates 3 trans people a year" factoid actualy just statistical error. average person hates 0 trans people per year. JK Rowling, who lives in cave & hates over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
Only four people in the UK have formally complained about a trans woman entering a “single-sex” facility, an eye-opening report has revealed.

A report published by advocacy group TransLucent found that only four official complaints were documented across 382 public bodies since 2022.

I like how casually browsing the web isn't possible without ad blockers and a vpn while both of these things also break it because we're in an ongoing digital race with governments and ad companies and malicious actors that want to track us, infect our machines with malware or serve us ads or all 3.

Keep seeing people find more ways to derisively categorize people and then completely dismiss them as a person.
Seeing a person as "one of them", intrinsically inseperable from the mindset of the group (as defined by people deriding it, if it even exists) and without existence beyond it.

Unhealthy.

Managed to break the hearts of my Mausritter players by gradually introducing them to a group of 3 blind warriors who accompanied them until a quest for revenge led them to the human scientist who experimented on them, on her husband's farm. They ended up running after her. You can guess what's next

Thinking more about #over/under (because of course I am) I think something that worked very well in its favour was that it ended. Everyone knew there was a time limit. It didn't get stale. It burned to the end, didn't fizzle out, and the bittersweet chats at the end made it all the more worth it.

And thus ends #over/under. A fantastic mess of creativity and chaos stapled on to a large scale wargame.

There's lots of posts already about the high stakes politics, the betrayals and the intrigue, but for me it was about the smaller interactions. The goings on in the blocks, the bars, the shops.

Come to d0c's! 100% of our surveyed patients said they survived.

Fantastic bunch of weirdos I somehow teamed up with in #over/under. Our collective bit of organised chaos in the much bigger organised chaos.
I am finally in the process of making a group picture of all of the clinicians in #over/under. I still have a few folks I need to include, but it’s been wild to see how much this group has grown

As for the kids who stole the entire treat bucket (after we'd left it out while we ate), I hope they ate all of it at once, with appropriate consequences.

One thing did reoccur last night though: Older teens pushing the boundaries of what "Bare minimum costume" means to get sweets. One group of lads I wasn't sure if they were in costume or had just spilled some ketchup.
