SUCH a shock to hear about Vince Zampella. I just hope he will be considered with the regard he deserves, as I'd argue he's up there with any of the industry's most influential figures. Seemed like a genuinely great guy too. RIP

He was also, annoyingly, absolutely right. I wasn't sure about Death Stranding, did not immediately fall in love with it, and then it became one of my favourite games when it clicked.
Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a soulless and soul-destroying game that thinks exceptionally little of its players and developers.
