I basically agree with Mr. Foxton here, but wanted to add, it's irritating everyone has got so hung-up on lore and continuity that they seem to forgot that fiction is just that...an imaginary story.

Being fulfilled doing work I find valuable and having enough money coming in to avoid monthly panic attacks feel lik opposite ends of a scale and I think I’ll just be jumping back and forth every couple years until I die. The only way to feel safe is to waste every second of your precious life

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the 7th episode of Dirty Pair, "愛こそすべて命賭けます逃避行!!" or "Love Is Everything, Betting Their Lives on Elopement", one of the most overtly trans-positive episodes of anime of its era. This was the future they predicted for us in 1985. We can still get there.
