SPUD #1 is out. Our first diy zine and it comes with fancy vinyl sticker. Illustrations and comics were all pencil on paper this time and we wrote some pieces of text about very relevant topics for the delight of more intellectual readers and those nostalgic. We kept them short, so don't worry

Back and front cover of SPUD. The back says "The reason behind the beauty of this world lies beyond this world". Six hands seem to be part of a seal. On the front cover, those same hands have grown monstrous: has the seal been broken? 3 copies of SPUD #1 plus 2 vinyl stickers that feature 2 dark magicians with closed hands as in prayer. A pink spot that seems a sun crowns them and below the figures the word SELKIEPUKA. One of the comics featured in SPUD #1: SUCTION. Something very weird about someone's eye is happening: the character seems to be sucked through their eyehole inside their own skull. Is this even possible?

Happy mistakes can be the best. I just put shapes on paper with acrylic markers and started making something. Inspiration struck and I ended up with a mini comic of sorts.

Acrylic markers, brush ink pen, and gel pens.
A one page comic illustration done in acrylic markers and inks. Blue, green, yellow and red shapes are drawn upon to tell a story and then all four colors come together at the end for a serene landscape. Blue square has a tentacle monster with many eyes and teeth. Green rectangle shows eyes with concern and part of a wizard hat above the eyes plus an exclamation mark of surprise. Yellow octagon has a wizard shown from the back. Itโ€™s the same wizard as last frame wearing a purple robe with stars and a moon on it. He is holding up a wizard staff with bolts of magic coming off it it. Large textโ€œBe Goneโ€ Red triangle pointing down shows one of the eyes of the tentacle open and scared surrounding by yellow magic closing in on it. The Gina frame is a serene landscape of green plains, under a blue sky with a yellow sun and yellow tinged clouds. There are red rock mountains in the distance in the right. The wizard is shown small and in the distance from the back again walking away.
