Went to the screening of my 48 hr film challenge film.
We won viewer favourite!!
Really proud of this.
(It was definitely a challenge but worth it)
Wish I could share it, but it's headed to the festival circuit now, so won't be online for at least a year.

Watching Black Panther for the first time since it came out.
I forgot how stunning the visuals are. Brilliant designs of sets, wardrobes, everything.
After Priest's run on the comic (one of my all time favorite runs) I really, really wanted this film to be good and it surpassed my hopes.

One major error we've had as a society was journalist taking unbiased to mean "have no beliefs and both side everything" rather the intended "don't let your preconceived biases blind you from reporting the truth". It's a world of difference, especially when jounalists outright ignore the latter now

So, after buying 6 random issues of Future's End (3 for $1) I've gotten the entire series digitally.
This must have been a weekly series right? (I wasn't reading any DC in this era)
It's pretty good. Not 52 good, but way, way better than Countdown (which I dropped after about 20 weeks)

Watching Fantastic Four as a parent hits different. This is the most boring meeting I've attended in years
The lead speaker has zero life, is saying "uuhhh" in every single sentence and it feels like they have both never given this presentation before and have given it so many times they are bored to tears.
