Grabbed Time Before Time #1 yesterday.
Had never heard of it But decided to check it out.

It was fantastic.
Apparently it ran for 29 issues and I now want to read them all.

Scored a slightly damaged copy of the The Longbow Hunters collection for $10!

I have a smattering of issues in this collection but I couldn't pass up that price and finally get to finally read the full story!!

Well, I gave away a lot of comics but held on to some of the stuff I had for the 13+ plus crowd as they were few and far between .

Had doubles of a couple of issues of The Gargoyle series (which is WONDERFUL) but a bit heavy for little kids.

But now I want to read the series!

My wife is watching Buffy as I give out candy and comics.

John Ritter was the perfect guest star for this episode.

He does both kind and creepy perfect. God, he was a great actor.

All ready for a night of comics and candy.

Might even give some away!

Took my wife to see the live/stage version of Welcome to Nightvale last night.

I'd never heard a full episode, but loved what I had heard so bought tickets for our anniversary.

Phenomenal show.
Laughed pretty much straight through. Would recommend the live show, would recommend the podcast

Well, I've had Punisher POV issues 1,3,4 for years.
Never did come across #2, so just gonna read what I have.

I read Punisher sparingly, but Starlin as the writer caught my eye.

1 issue in, there are a lot of different elements at play. Not quite my thing, but curious how it all comes together

Finally read Superman Unchained #1

The foldout page was a nice enough image but clearly the design of the page didn't take into account the physical mechanics of the book

Sloppy work by someone, as it could have easily been adjusted.

For when you're feeling both peckish and transphobic?

Issue 5 of Human Defense Corps

This issue is what I wanted the Wildstorm mini "Infernos Helbound" to be.

A fight of humans against demons with a solid story happening throughout.

This series is solid.
Rock solid.

Hunt it down .

This was an intense weekend, helping make a movie in 48 hrs.

I had to work a bit this morning but now I'm chilling and decided Groo was the best way to relax.

About to read issue 4
This is a great series.

Military division is formed to fight aliens, and by issue 3 even the grunts are asking why they're not fighting aliens.

3 issues left and I already want to read more.

Rereading Human Defense Corps

Found all 6 issues of this series in a .50 bin years and years ago. Had never heard of it, but written by Ty Templeton was enough to get my attention.

I recall very little of it, but I know I enoyed it.

11 yrs ago today I was texted a photo and question:

Rick: you want this or know someone who would ?

Me: No idea who would want that.
WHY DO YOU HAVE IT?!?

Love the convenience of a trade paperback,
hate what it does to double page spreads when you get to the middle of the book.

Reread Rucka's Ultimate Daredevil and Electra.

It's still great.
Just as relevant today as when it came out.

Out and about in the area I went to high school in for the first time in a long time.

The comic shop in this area is gone.

Very sad about that, it was a good one.
Great selection, great service and was a great place to just talk comics in.

My discount comics haul read continues.

Don't know if it's because this is #2 and I've not read #1, or if it's because I'm tired but I can barely follow this comic.
I don't know what is going on, what the stakes are or much else

Like Orlando's other comics though, so will try again tomorrow

Was suddenly curious about the Dreadstar Omni and apparently it's on pre-order.

I don't mind waiting, but I dunno, Jan 2, 2079 seems like a long way off at the moment
