I've already come across the ROAD HOUSE remake on cable five or six times, proving that it is truly a ROAD HOUSE movie. Right now it's on IFC which is better than whatever other channel it was on because they don't censor the cursing.

Ever wonder what Conan directed by Sam Raimi would look like? Especially if it featured amazing practical effects and starred one of the foremost ass-kickers in the business? Then Steven Kostanski made just the flick for you. This thing was engineered in a lab for me to love it. Fucking fantastic!

What's a movie you never tire of?

*It would also make for a great second film in a double feature with WILLOW

When the lead starts singing the opening credits song, in the movie as he is walking to go take down some dudes, I lost my mind. Incredible pop art filmmaking here

I really enjoyed PREDATOR: BADLANDS, a totally different type of PREDATOR sequel that feels completely natural because it's sorta like the one we always imagined.

At some point on this here internet I started seeing people refer to the alien species from the PREDATOR movies as “Yautja.” I sure never noticed anybody

Lethal Panther 2. Some of the most insane action ever shot, sandwiched with the most inane scenes ever. Still, a lot of this is pretty rad. Would go for a good release of this.

‘Gambino’: John Woo & Nicolas Cage To Reunite On Upcoming Pic About Notorious NYC Crime Boss
Nearly three decades after “Face/Off,” John Woo and Nicolas Cage will reunite for their third project together. Deadline reports that Cage will star in the Woo-directed “Gambino,” about the notorious NYC crime boss Carlo Gambino. It’s Woo’s first film since 2024’s “The Killer,” while for the ever-prolific Cage, the crime pic is just one of several upcoming projects, including “Madden,” “The Prince,” and “Fortitude.” READ MORE: ‘The Carpenter’s Son’ Teaser Trailer: Beware, Satan, Nicolas Cage Is Jesus In New Horror With FKA Twigs & Noah Jupe But what’s the set-up for “Gambino”?  George Gallo and Nick Vallelonga pen the script, which follows the chaos that erupts in the NYC underworld after the death of Cage’s Gambino.  Amidst the power flux, Pulitzer-winning journalist Jimmy Breslin tries to uncover the real Gambino beneath the legends that swirl around his name and how the boss redefined organized crime in America.  For those unfamiliar with Gambino, he was one of the most notorious crime bosses in the 20th-century United States, and a powerful part of the mob until his death in 1976.  WME Indepdent will launch sales for the film at next week’s AFM. At first BASKET CASE 3 (1992) seems like too much of a rehash of stuff I didn't like in part 2, but it gets pretty fun as soon as Belial's girlfriend Eve starts popping out adorably ugly little bloblings.

The more I think about it the less I like BADLANDS. In a vacuum it’s an enjoyable family friendly fantasy adventure with some fun action but as a predator movie it feels like a bait & switch where Disney is using the predator IP to win back young males that have lost interest in Star Wars & Marvel.
I liked it but have mixed feelings. It feels very much like a Star Wars movie in a number of ways for better and worse that I can see being polarizing with fans but there is plenty of bad ass Predator action.
I am seeing PREDATOR BADLANDS in a few hours.
