At first BASKET CASE 3 (1992) seems like too much of a rehash of stuff I didn't like in part 2, but it gets pretty fun as soon as Belial's girlfriend Eve starts popping out adorably ugly little bloblings.

I agree about Trachtenberg my guess is it’s a trade off to get the budget he needed to tell the story he wanted to tell.
