Space - real and fake, Star Wars/Trek, plastic robots, sports, and general nerd stuff. Currently Fire Emblem and Zelda obsessed.

When there's a glitch in the NPC and they just return to default state
Someone said that Trump “shut down” when the guy fainted and now I can’t unsee it, 😁.

Game #18 of 2025: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

I’ve enjoyed all of the Hyrule and Fire Emblem Warriors games immensely. I couldn’t get into the 1 Dynasty Warriors game I tried, but loved the Nintendo collabs. Story is funky timely-wimey, but still engaging.
Game #17 of 2025: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch 2 edition)

Really slowed down this year after falling down a live service hole. Decided to replay this randomly. Got all shrines, but F off with 900 koroks. Missed a couple of amiibo armor pieces. Still an amazing game.

No way in hell he wrote this.

Appreciated the number of capes I saw worn at the Superman screening tonight

I don’t know what old Segal movie is on at the bar right now, but the camera work feels exactly like a daytime soap opera. It’s weird.

If you thought weather was a bipartisan element, well, those days are over. One party is a bad faith actor in this process.
Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville:
“Everybody should be concerned about bad weather. Not a whole lot you can do about it other than possibly a little bit of early warning...we’ll have to wait and see if any of these cuts affect any of that…we’ll wait to get a report on it. I mean, that’s all we can do.”
‘You've Gotta Make Sure That People’s Lives Are Protected’: Some Republicans Are Closely Watching Weather Service Cuts
Republicans representing the states affected most this tornado season largely say they don’t mind Trump’s sweeping cuts at the weather agency, though a few said they’re keeping tabs.

I knew going in that I would love this week’s The Last of Us based on the game, but damn if it wasn’t my favorite episode of the series by far. Well done, Neil, Craig, Bella, Pedro, and team. Well done. 👏

Also, the luncheon square-off between Denise Gough and Kathryn Hunter is officially the second-greatest duel in the STAR WARS canon. Right behind the ROGUE ONE hallway scene and before Luke vs. Vader in EMPIRE.

100% would love to see Kleya as Leia’s agent in Ahsoka
Kleya 100% has eventually becomes Leia’s handmaiden vibes

Game #16 of 2025: The Last of Us Part I

My pace has slowed due to TV watching. I played the PS4 remaster years ago and decided to take on the recent remake when season 2 of the show came out. Still holds up as a great game. Haven’t replayed Left Behind DLC yet, but plan to get to that this week

Ok, so Starfighter with Ken…er, Corran Horn. Also still need to see Jess, Kare and kid at a minimum, but at surviving Rogue or Black Squadron pilots would be good, too.
If the Rogue Squadron movie actually ends up being post-TROS, it’d be nice to see Jessica Henwick back as Jess Testor, with Poe, Wedge, a grown Corran Horn, a screen adapted Kare Kun (w/ kid)

It’d be cool as hell to see Jess in a hand-to-hand action scene vs shoe-horning in a lightsaber with Corran

It is impossible to capture how catastrophic Trump’s recent moves and statements are for US defense contractors—this will have a huge trickle-down industrial effect given supply chains and subcontractors.
I mean... holy shit.

I hope people realize that Trump is trying to make it illegal to criticize his regime.

They are trying to give themselves the ability to spy on, target, and arrest anyone who criticizes them. They want to end freedom of speech in America.

Let’s be clear about what they’re doing.

Game #15 of 2025: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan

A shorter game by the same co. that put out The Quarry and Until Dawn. It’s alright, but
A) you find out the twist pretty early; and
B) it’s so dark most of the time, it’s tough to navigate in 3rd person

It’s fine, got 2 endings so far

Making my way again into my Star Wars: The High Republic backlog (still phase II)

Just finished @charlessoule.bsky.social’s “The Blade” and it was great! I liked the contrast w/ the Eiram and E'ronoh story of this phase

But after reaching the end…
Charles, are we still getting “The Broken Blade”?

Welcome to the life of anyone at NASA who ever dared to point out a flaw in the logic of anything SpaceX wanted to do.

“Why do you hate space? Don’t you want to go to space? You know he’s like a genius, right? Are YOU a genius? Do YOU have a billion dollars?”

The stupidest fan club.
In my experience, the Musk fanboys don't even acknowledge when you point out the data is faked. They just repeat "oh so you don't want Musk investigating all that waste, fraud, and abuse? What are you hiding?"
But its supporters will never see the corrections. They’ll just move on to the next set of bullshit claims. When you call them on one, they’ll point to the others and say, “Well look at all this other smoke. There must be fire.” While they’re literally running a bunch of smoke machines.
