Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Last 2 episodes were meh, just a jolly for the 3 lads to South America (in search of the 4th lad) by the looks of it. Anyway, onwards to the ladies version of the very ladish Rocco Schiavone, Le indagini di Lolita Lobosco, haven't seen a single cigarette in the first two episodes. #WalterPresents
On my final season of Rocco Schiavone from C4's always excellent Walter Presents, quality procedural cop show set in Italy's (cold) far North West. Don't watch though if you're trying to give up smoking, non-stop puffing of fags and joints. www.valledaosta-guidaturistica.it/rocco-schiav...

It was most definitely copied on the role that the 1930's Crown played in the UK (earlier proposals as the constitution was being developed envisaged a more powerful role like say that of Romania or 1930s Germany). Having to coexist with the King in early days also shaped its limited role I imagine.
I don't think it's controversial to suggest that the way that Ireland has developed a particular culture around the Presidency doesn't exactly look particularly republican. We would have handled a constitutional monarchy just fine #aras25 #speirgorm
