My top 3 can’t-miss movie cliches:

1. Reformed criminal is pressured back into old ways, but not before saying “I don’t do that anymore”
2. Someone digs through old files or storage boxes w/ small flashlight in mouth
3. Computer magically improves photo resolution bc someone says “enhance”
My top 3 can't-miss movie cliches:

1. Old man warns you this place is bad
2. Memorable second-in-command
3. Severe, attractive middle-aged woman is mean and fucked up
My top 3 can't-miss movie cliches:

1. Villain is killed whilst monologuing
2. Crusty, sour older relative gifts super-meaningful heirloom to young protagonist
3. Dog to the rescue!

Every office has an executive tier whose emails are like:

saw on news , , can we replce complianc dept with web 3

and a worker tier whose emails are like:

Dear Jim,
First of all, I *love* this idea! Unfortunately, I spoke with Legal and identified a few issues with this approach. For starters…
Well, it's a little clearer now why billionaires are so invested in technology that produces better written emails.

Studio Marketing Enforcer [putting pistol to my head]: Good. Now tell them about the cinematography.

Me [sobbing]: It's... gorge-eous

I see that CBS chose not to air this part. It probably explains much of what they did decide to air.

After the AI bubble I hope the next bubble is Laser Tag. Laser tag arenas on every street corner. Blacklight lit battlefields propping up every sector of the economy. A one story building by the side of the highway called “Blast Zone: Pizza & Arcade” valued at $2.7 trillion

"But when the team looked at the employees’ actual work output, they found that the developers had completed tasks 20% slower when using AI than when working without it. Researchers were stunned. “No one expected that outcome. We didn’t even really consider a slowdown as a possibility.”

Diane Keaton never gave a bad performance, nor even a middling, checked-out one. Never seemed to be working for the paycheck. She put everything into every role and nailed them all, with a grace so organic that her range seemed as natural a phenomenon as her beauty. RIP to one of the greats.
