It's such a galling insult because it's so brazenly tipping their hand that they never actually *needed* to ride us so hard, that they were always able to accept mistakes, and that the demands were always largely just about power and control.
I've started to see arguments that we have to get used to AI Slop coding even if it isn't great, because it's fast. Humans could go faster, too, if they're allowed to turn in stuff that only sometimes works. Such a fascinating double standard that will in no way come back to haunt, naw.

the problem with this dipshit is he thinks there's some statistical determiner that categorises people as "trolls" and "not trolls" instead of the world being subjective and messy and opinionated

The problem with saying “just block the trolls” is that this only works if your concern is seeing individual mean replies. But the real impact of a mob of trolls is ecological - it changes the entire tenor of a community, changes all the social dynamics. Nazi Twitter demonstrates this profoundly.
