The solution was to say: "we will provide legal routes and the resources to process these claims faster." Instead we have what Labour disgorged into the discourse: totally rotten stuff that will only make things worse. We can all see it, yet somehow it evades these people who run the country.

The Brexit Benefit of small boat crossings.
If you can zoom in far enough, check out the heady days of 2018 before the Conservative government closed access to legal applications thereby *causing* a small boats problem. And today they’re (mainly Chris Philp) doing the media rounds telling Labour where they’re going wrong. #refugees #r4today

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

“How many refugees have been granted asylum in the UK?”

Most people overestimate the number - by a lot. With far-right figures spreading misinformation, it’s hard for the public to know the truth.

Watch the video to see just how wide the gap is between perception and reality.

"If fascism is popular we will implement it" is such a blunt and perfect summary of liberalism delivered with absolute clarity
Asked if Keir Starmer believes British people want to "see refugee children pulled out of school and deported after 10 years in this country”, his spokesman says that “what the British public wants and what this government was elected on a mandate to deliver was to secure our borders"

Oh, get fucked!
Literal ghouls, the lot of them.

I'm off to join the Green Party. Fuck these guys.
Govt minister Alex Norris is asked if the govt will take jewellery from people [fleeing war and persecution]. Norris says the govt won't be taking peoples wedding rings but they will seize assets.

Fuck it, just install Farage in No. 10 at this point. He's already setting government policy, why keep up the fucking pretence?

Horrible, spineless cunts, the lot of them.
UK set to limit refugees to temporary stays
Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

People should be kind to one another and realise that how others choose to live their lives doesn't impact you and isn't any of your business.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Dear Gov't,
Tax the rich, regulate the media, fund public services.
It really is that simple.
Five years of that, you'll be halfway to fixing the mess you inherited. Ten, you'll be the envy of the world.
All this running around trying to avoid doing those things is wasted time and energy.
HTH.

EXT. EXPLOSION SITE DAY
The body of Bond lies crumpled on the ground. Suddenly, it begins to glow with a strange unearthly light, as his face changes into that of [Insert Actor Here]. SHE sits up and examines her new body.

BOND
Well... this is new!

CRASH TO EPIC TITLE SONG

See? Simple!
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
