For the first time in history, the Trauma & Acute Care Surgery service at Johns Hopkins was led by an all-Black team of senior residents.
There are 5 MDs, 2 PhDs, and 6 Master’s degrees - but more importantly, a shared commitment to serving the people of Baltimore.

They were cervical cancer cells that were taken, without consent, from a woman named Henrietta Lacks.
