Rasta Johnny, a Jamaican artist, lost his home to Hurricane Melissa. WCK teams met him at Santa Cruz Learning Centre, where he is staying, and ensured that he and other families there had food. He carved our team members wooden bowls as a symbol of appreciation and connection. #ChefsForJamaica

At our newest large-capacity kitchen in Gaza, one of our mobile bakeries works nonstop—producing tens of thousands of loaves daily to be shared in northern Gaza alongside hot meals.

As part of our #ChefsForGaza response, WCK is bringing safe water closer to families who need it to drink and cook. Many people walk a long way just to get water for their families. WCK & our partner Qutoof Al-Khair Association delivered water in Al-Zawaida to make access safer & more reliable.

WCK's support for Jamaican families impacted by Hurricane Melissa goes beyond meals. We went to Alligator Pond, a fishing town on the southwest coast of Jamaica, to distribute wire & rope to local fishermen to help them rebuild fishing pots after a lot of their gear was destroyed by the storm. Valentyna has been moving from shelter to shelter since being displaced from her home in the Kharkiv region near the Russian border. WCK is providing daily meals at her current shelter, and when we learned her 90th birthday was approaching, we wanted to do something special. (1/2)

Fresh fruits are packed with essential nutrients and are vital for preventing malnutrition, but access is scarce in Gaza. To ensure children get the support they need as the risk of malnutrition grows, WCK teams are distributing fruit to families in several hospitals. #ChefsForGaza
