This (and every other state where it happens) will be the big story of the midterms and even more so the presidential election.

I understand people don’t want us to be doomers. But we can do two things: the more likely we are to win the harder we have to work to ensure the elections aren’t stolen.
Michigan Republicans asking Trump to take over the 2026 election Michigan. (I know that this, in theory, references in 'monitoring'. But we're not obligated to accept bullshit cover stories.)

“The prohibited activities would include joint research, co-authorship on papers, and advising a foreign graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. The language is retroactive, meaning any interactions during the previous 5 years could make a scientist ineligible for future federal funding.”

ICE wants you to believe that he tied his own and hands and feet, then hung himself.
When ICE reported Chaofeng Ge’s death on Aug. 6, it "said he was found the day before, hanging in a shower stall with a cloth tied around his neck. It made no mention of additional bindings that were on hands and feet."

His family is suing to access records that may explain what really happened.

He's been stripped of his titles, reduced to the status of a pariah.

Nobody is defending him.

In America, Jeffrey Epstein's close mate, Donald Trump, remains the president.

as much as the USG might hate Maduro, it's not hard to imagine a word where paramilitary and narco-capital end up growing stronger as a result of this
I think people on here are huffing hopium if they think the Venezuelan operation ends in Vietnam II or is a complete debacle.

We’re likely to see a very competent air campaign, that does have the potential of decapitating the Maduro regime.

I’m skeptical massive ground operation is in the works.

This is the case at all Texas state universities btw not just A&M

At UT Austin I can say they have been actively and intentionally moving toward this since at least 2021
If you have to get permission to teach in your area of expertise from people who are definitionally not qualified to adjudicate your expertise then you are no longer working at a university.

You’re working at a state propaganda factory.
