Extremely terrible
I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

I've been fired from the Washington Post in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting.

I can't cancel my subscription because I already canceled my subscription
So the Washington Post fired Karen Attiah—a Black woman—for doing nothing more than quoting Charlie Kirk's words about Black women?

Is that what I'm understanding here?

We built a calculator that doesn't work, but don't worry, it's also a plagiarism machine that will tell you to kill yourself. It runs on the world's oceans and costs 10 trillion dollars.

I’m kind of speechless with this one. I can’t imagine the kind of person who continues to make the argument that it doesn’t count as real starvation if the kids were already sick.

things that are Not Good for the Jews--good thread and resource
In Medieval Europe, Jews were often considered special property of the king, nominally under royal protection. This “protection” almost never extended to actually saving Jews from pogroms, but it certainly contributed to antisemitism by creating a (false) perception that Jews got special treatment.
I do not ultimately think it will end well for the Jews to make us into the symbolic state-protected minority group for the American right-wing. It's court Jews all over again.

or rather, I want to murder your family AGAIN
It also communicates to me "I want other people to share my desire to murder your family." The Nazis need to feel powerful to act barbarous and you get that feeling with numbers.
To me, a Nazi salute means, "I want to murder your family." There can be no irony about it: It puts deep anger and hatred in my heart to see it done and I will never forgive anyone who justifies or minimizes it.

One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.

The actual number is less than 1%.

Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.
