We’ve seen research showing LLM chatbots can reduce belief in conspiracy theories in experimental settings: scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=e...

But in the wild, it seems that these tools likely contribute to strengthening belief in conspiracy theories for many.

Interestingly: DMA enforcement for AI and cloud are now talking points (these were largely absent at the AI Action Summit).

However: this is then followed by AI arms race rhetoric, gigafactories, and deregulation for sovereignty
A contradiction.

Karsten Wildberger keeps talking about *tomorrow's* deregulation announcement and saying we just need to build products.

But products are blocked by captured infrastructure — the problem of *today's* #DigitalSovereignty summit. Deregulation is in no position to have any impact on this whatsoever.
