I know you’re probably being sarcastic, but this is exactly the attitude that kept me from pursuing a career in the arts for years. Now, in late middle age, I am finally doing what I’m good at, and I’m happier and more financially secure than I ever was working tech jobs.
She could buy your ticket. As an artist, it should be natural to have your parents support you.

Housing is definitely worse now, even if most all else is undeniably better. Personally it doesn’t shock me people weight owning a home (American dream) higher than cheap electronics and superior food options. Which is a distillation. Even air quality is better. But still, people want to own a home

I think the strategy of thousands of sign holding normies holding protests since last January, those same normies flooding their social media (mostly tiktok & FB) with the Atrocity of the Day, and just generally Normies being bold against fascism is a winning one and something everyone can do.

Trump is still saying you need an ID to buy groceries, years after he said it and was widely mocked. Are his aides afraid to correct him? Or is he simply incapable of learning? When my mom got dementia, she was like that. Once a false impression entered her brain, you couldn't get it out.
