Swear to god, so many of these uber rich guys who keep trying to intellectualize and sanitize white supremacy really are the dumbest motherfuckers alive. They constantly say word salad-y nonsense like this that would cause them to fail a fourth grade US history test.
This odious white supremacist needs to learn some history.

Not so long ago, it was common to see "Irish need not apply" in job listings in the United States. You know, the same type of pernicious prejudice that Elon exhibits regularly.

Dumb and evil are not mutually exclusive and Elon is not a genius, or even an above average thinker. I have dealt with enough of these people directly to see their stupidity in action, not just reading about it on this website.
I am once again begging liberals to understand the difference between dumb (which they are not) and evil (which they are).

Do people like Elizabeth truly not grasp this? You are *paid to observe people*!!! How much more do you need to see?

THIS. THIS RIGHT HERE.

There's only two explanations, he's either a Nazi or a moron and neither are acceptable to me.
Even if you accept at face value Platner's (patently ridiculous) assertion that he didn't know what it was -- we're left with an unqualified over-entitled white guy who lacks the intellectual curiosity to research a symbol he had permanently inked on his body thinking he should be a U.S.Senator.

Platner is a real test for Democrats and we are failing. He's a bigot and misogynist who destroyed his own flesh with the Totenkopf of the SS and the online troll class are still "any Dem is better than a Republican."

No. Expecting nothing but tribalism from our representatives is how we got here.
One whole thing with Platner stans is this idea he is the only one who can win and framing it as a Dem vs GOP thing. This is a *primary* his presence has deterred other candidates who ... don't have Nazi tattoos.
Platner's dismissive comments about sexual assault in the military were so disgusting that a candidate who had experienced assault in the service dropped out to endorse Mills rather than risk Platner getting into the senate. www.everythingishorrible.net/p/progressiv...

Shame what's going on in Maine, Planter's questionable past and Mills is completely unelectable. Squandered opportunity as Collins gets a free pass to reelection.

Some good questions on the mysteries of the filibuster. Personally, I think it should be done away with. But if they're going to keep it, they really should have to actually stand up there and debate/talk.

What I really hate, is changing the rules every time you want to ram legislation through.
The CRA (founded by Russ Vought) supports forcing a talking filibuster: “If the Republican majority can outlast the Democrat minority speeches (which could take weeks)… then a final vote on the SAVE Act would take place at a simple majority threshold of 51 votes…”
What do they mean by outlast?? 1/

Masked ICE agents had elementary school kids running for their lives in South Jersey. Now they're afraid to go outside or go to school.

Listen to these kids and tell me with a straight face that we can "reform" ICE. You can't reform that.
Kids in Lindenwold, NJ ran from their bus stop after spotting ICE agents during an operation. A 10 year old said agents followed him as he rushed home, with counselors later brought in to support the frightened children.
