These technologies can and are being used to create lifelike images and videos of actual living women and girls. For what I think are pretty obvious gendered civil rights reasons, it needs to be a recognized civil cause of action to create an AI image or avatar of a woman without her consent.
"And I never say no"

We need to have a serious talk about the way "AI companion" apps not only prey on the vulnerable, but are priming their users to ignore consent and to conflate love with control.

We need AI regulations across so many sectors, but this area is particularly horrifying.

Texans-Chargers sounds like it's being broadcast by a high school production. Awkward, not fluid play-by-play and muted noises on field and with crowd. Color commentary is limited and has to be prompted. Pop-Tarts Bowl is so lively. The NFL game feels so dead

Wild scenes. Absolutely wild. My brain can't comprehend this kind of behavior
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

You approved a contract with this man that keeps accountability low? With a force that currently has oversight issues for officer conduct?

Hopefully this is the wakeup call if you thought the officers were gonna act better when you bumped their pay.

1. Make it illegal for providers to deny Medicare if they want to be a practice.

2. The people who run it now, but with more.

3. Getting a referral is already how it's supposed to work?
For all Universal HC/Single Payer/M4A advocates.

What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?

Who in the USA gov runs the program?

R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?

I love when private equity firms get more involved in my entertainment. We need to run DC movies even more into the ground.
Affinity Partners, the private equity firm led by Jared Kushner, is part of Paramount's hostile takeover bid for Warner Bros Discovery.

Paramount is telling WBD shareholders that it has a smoother path to regulatory approval than does Netflix, and Kushner's involvement only strengthens that case

I think we should prosecute you for heinous bait posting.
If the US Coast Guard stops a ship in international waters and seizes their cocaine, is that a war crime? The ship has not done anything illegal. Should we prosecute the Coast Guard Captain for piracy?

What accommodation are people getting that is also catapulting them to great success? People with disabilities sometimes need accommodations, but you will also find they are great people beneath that. Accommodations just show what people can do.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

Perhaps if the DOD could pass an audit at all I would care more about cutting costs elsewhere.
We all believe in improving efficiency, and a team genuinely focused on that could do a world of good.

But the DOGE we could have had is a far cry from the DOGE we actually got.
