An update for those of you following the dispute between the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners and Sheriff Dyer: The parties seem to have agreed to a stipulated order that withdraws the requested TRO, cancels a 1/7 hearing, and extends the amount of time the county has to respond. #a2council

A several people and orgs have said, the U.S. does not have a good track record in South America nor have its interventions ever led to peace and stability. Regardless of how you feel about Maduro, the U.S. strikes and activity in the Venezuela and the region ought to be disturbing in the least.

you don't need to add caveats agreeing that the head of state abducted is a bad guy before opposing abduction of a head of state by military force. If the rule was any head of government is fair game then the entire world would be a series of decapitation strikes and show trials in foreign courts.
