GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a cancer vaccine that has shown STUNNING results, PREVENTING up to 88% of MULTIPLE aggressive cancers by harnessing dual-pathway nanoparticles that train the immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells. In some cases, it COMPLETELY prevented metastasis.

I stopped with a bachelor’s of malfeasance, but obviously I wasn’t looking to teach.
I got my masters in evil, but I lost my passion for it and ended up just staying in food service.

A noble roast embiggens the soul:
I always forget that roasting is a perfectly cromulent way to cook root vegetables.

... so just in case you are also trying to come up with novel ways to eat more beets and carrots (or whatever), this one is generally tasty.

You can dress them up however you want, too.
With or without meat.

I’ve been guilty of this. Great point!

That is the best summary of how I have been feeling here in my early 50s I have read yet

I grew up thinking that some people were just born “talented” at #art. If you weren’t good at it immediately then it wasn’t for you.

Now I know that’s a myth. Good is subjective and you get better with practice. Give yourself the space to develop.

You’re not bad. You’re just learning ☺️

What do you even say about a giant like Drew Struzan except study him. Go make some marks, some actual marks, with pencils and paints and an airbrush if you’ve got one hanging around. Everything you could ever need to learn about this craft is in his work.

This is a cause I’m passionate about:
If you have a clip-on microphone, clip it on your bloody clothes - don't hold it delicately between thumb and forefinger like some exotic Turkish cigarillo. You look like a twat.

lede = introductory section in journalism

bury the lede = hiding the most relevant pieces of a story within other distracting information

Allegedly, it’s spelled ‘lede’ to avoid confusion with ‘lead,’ which was the strip of metal that would separate lines of type.

I really do hate the term "content creator", language shapes our perception of something, and "content creator" suggests you create simply for it to be consumed and disposed of

You're an artist, a musician, a YouTuber, a streamer.. show pride in your field ffs
