Two independent studies found that AI chatbots were better at persuading voters than political ads. The most persuasive bots also lied the most. This is something that humans working in psyops have known for decades. AI is psyops at scale. www.technologyreview.com/2025/12/04/1...

Imagine the reaction to allegations that Corbyn had made hissing gas noises to Jewish kids as a schoolboy - and then if he had responded to those allegations by shouting 'Bernard Manning!' at the journalists
The radio silence about Farage from people who are usually supremely vocal about antisemitism is so so telling.

When I first heard about Farage’s racist teenage rants, I assumed they were an adolescent phase. But the more we find out — they went on for many years — and his reaction to the revelations (‘liars’) shows no contrition, no apology, suggests these beliefs are still active

Including his latest today.

Why, therefore, is Zia Yusuf on ##bbcqt tonight?

I love the fact that the Telegraph tried to cover the Rachel Reeves chess 'truth' story, and had to include the fact that even their own chess correspondent thinks it is utter bollocks.
I think if i won the under-14 title for the British Women’s Chess Association (BWCA) Girls Championship, you would probably hear me say quite a bit i was the champion. The Telegraph's own chess correspondent points out here why Reeves's is quite right to do so www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/202...

I am hearing from multiple sources that the EU Commission is announcing its first DSA fine tomorrow against X on ad transparency, blue check & dark pattern, and researcher access to data.

The fine is in the "100s of millions of Euros."

Elon about to get big mad.

“Farage said he would no longer speak to the BBC, calling it “despicable” and “beyond belief”.”

Ungrateful, considering he’d be nowhere without their relentless promotion of him on #BBCQT and other shows over years.

It’s clear to anyone paying attention that Farage won’t investigate the Russian infiltration of Reform.

The Prime Minister must step up and launch a national investigation.

One of my favourite episodes so far, I think.
BRAND NEW 🍏 How Do You Like Them Apples? 🍎

From the Garden of Hesperides to the Garden of Eden, from the Atalanta and the Trojan War to The Beatles and the iPhone, apples are laden with often conflicting symbolism.

In fear of Farage, govts have committed themselves to repel investment, shrink our economy, create labour shortages and turn ourselves into a prejudiced little backwater.
