I'm a therapist, but I'm not your therapist so don't be surprised when I don't act like it.

Users of generative AI struggle to accurately assess their own competence
A new study reveals that while using AI improves logical reasoning scores, it causes users to significantly overestimate their abilities, creating a disconnect between actual performance and perceived competence.

If you think this is about free speech - rather than a wilful goading by money and power of a screwed over minority - just ask yourself how the media would cover this story if Alice Sullivan was an anti-semite and these were Jewish students rightly protesting at her being invited onto their campus.
Total gaslighting. Anti-trans activist; chooses to speak in person, provoking students who want to protect trans rights; they exercise their freedom of speech to tell her she isn't wanted; she gets to speak anyway; the BBC dutifully platforms her again; and now she threatens to sue everyone.

Imagine what that money could have actually been used for instead over the last 6 years. In a time of funding crisis where charities are having to cut programmes that help women and girls that much spent trying to drag stonewall into an employment dispute seems so wasteful.
With £1,000,000 now spent Allison Bailey loses again.

I'm trying to get data together to try to get funding to create accessible therapeutic groups for adults in and around #Bristol
If you are in the #UK and #Disabled #Chronicallyill &/or #Neurodivergent. Filling this in would really help me

Thanks!

🔥🔥🔥 While everyone is distracted by other budget news, Labour have just announced that they will allow more drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea 🔥🔥🔥

Genuinely catastrophic for our climate and further proof that Labour care more about corporate profits than people or planet.

I agree, absolutely pointlessly evil, Disabled people pay upfront for these cars that they lease themselves. These are often the only companies that provide the vehicle adaptations required.
More throwing disabled people under the bus.
Pointlessly evil.

Disabled people choose these brands bc they come with a guaranteed replacement vehicle WHICH IS ESSENTIAL IF YOU'RE DISABLED.

They pay the difference themselves.

So all you've done is tell disabled CEOs/working disabled people that they have to drive a Kia.

Back from a wonderful weekend of escapism. A Larp Con called consequences. 7 wonderful games, a lot of wonderful people, so much laughter, a fair few in game tears, and a few cuddle piles ☺️. Larp can be therapeutic for sure. Today is a recovery day as I always get a post con slump.

Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the Disability Discrimination Act. The absolute tumbleweed from the media & gov shows just how much they want to bury how much disabled people fought and still fight for our rights.

We also had an hour wait at the station for our train home. As we missed the previous one by 10 mins.
This all drains energy which I have less off. Today I can't do anything I'm exhausted and in pain. Was worth it tho.
A reminder that the disability tax isn't just money it's also time. Regular taxi- 3 minute wait, wheelchair taxi - 28 minute wait.

Got COVID booster yesterday, had to pay for it this year. NHS is great at preventing death + in an acute crisis, but have any sort of chronic condition that just makes life shitty and you will have to fight for every scrap of treatment or support. #NHS #ChronicIllness

1 reason I think there's so much pushback to the increase in Autism/ADHD diagnoses is the fear that NTs will stop being 'the norm' + that systems will need to change to not centre on NT ways of being. It's a classic case of systems protecting themselves #ADHD #Autism #Neurodivergent #SystemicAbleism

It's an interesting feeling seeing the COVID cases rise and being one of the few people masking. Going to the theatre and getting stared at like you are the 'crazy' is systemic gaslighting. I value the little health I have and I'm protecting myself as best I can.
