Disability doesn't disappear because people have jobs. Being disabled costs an average £1095 extra a month. I'm in a 'well paid' job. Yet without pip I wouldn't be working at all as I wouldn't be able to buy and maintain the equipment and services I need to stay functioning enough.

If you drive you don't qualify for a bus pass. Many people get bus passes in their own right but can't drive themselves so get cars for carers to drive them around. Social services provide transport to specific events. They are all different situations. Removing 1 will leave people trapped at home.

Absolutely. I also use Neuronormative depending on context as it aligns with language that already is being used in other communities. NT is still the most widely understood so is what I tend to use when abbreviating on social media.
