Can anyone on a BBSRC panel answer this question:

Are hyperlinked references allowed in grant applications (i.e. no reference section)?

TFS guidance only says "references may be included in this section" for Vision and Approach. Previously hyperlinks were not allowed, but has this changed?

This is an excellent comment by @giorgio.gilest.ro on the emerging possibility of AI peer review
“The noise in human peer reviews is crucial because it arises from the variability in human experience and practical knowledge — two features that no model’s training corpus can fully capture,” writes Giorgio F. Gilestro in Nature about the introduction of AI peer reviews. #Academicsky 🧪
AI reviewers are here — we are not ready
Artificial intelligence promises rapid and polite feedback on papers — but we must first review the reviewer.
