It's fascinating to me the ways liberals, even liberals that pretend to be "progressives" and mention the extermination of Palestinians at least in passing from time to time, will underscore the fact that they still don't view Palestinians as fully human.
The framing of this by CNN implies she's talking about bad candidates, but she isn't. She's saying this country hates women. People say look at Mexico or Germany, they elected women. Yes. Because they, as a country, don't hate women nearly as much as we do. Fucked up shit. She's not lying.

I think it's just another form of American exceptionalism to look around and assess that we are uniquely unable to elect women as leaders because we are a uniquely misogynist nation and convince yourself that this is electorally savvy.

I think it's incredibly important, also, that we consider every person serving in the government currently going along with and enabling all of this. Whatever remains of the federal government after all of this is over is going to need to be cleared out from top to bottom.
