Meta, the AI companies, and the crypto companies have based an enormous chunk of the world economy on lying to your parents and grandparents, then stealing from them. That's the business model, straightforwardly. These companies exist to make people stupider and thereby easier to rob.
this is incredibly common. like all my friends parents and grand parents have been victims. and if not full theft they're lowkey think they're talking to Keanu Reeves and just in the early stages of a scam
