No matter how far to the right you go people call themselves conservative. People on the left not collectively embracing the term “liberal” just makes it harder to form meaningful coalitions. It needs to stop.
The vast majority of Americans voters understand Barack Obama to be “liberal” and Bernie Sanders to be “very liberal,” this attempt to import a meaningful left-liberal distinction into American politics is an annoying affectation by people for whom politics exists entirely on their phones

We no longer have a functional Supreme Court and people (especially those in power and in the media) need to start plainly addressing that fact.
