California: Schiff and Padilla offices are open and taking calls. Press 3 for Schiff and 2 for Padilla to get a real person and ask each if the Senator will be calling on Schumer and Durbin to resign as leadership. Be polite, and be specific about how all this affects you if you can!

Also in case its not being mentioned in your feed, there is still a remaining vote for this and Somehow they didn't anticipate the outrage, so there's apparently some hesitation now.

If those were your senators, call them and don't stop. I will also be calling even though they arent mine
Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

No matter how they voted last night, every one of them has a say in maintaining Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin as their caucus leaders. Every one of them is accountable here.

I’m at the “vote, donate, help, run for office or shut the fuck up” stage of political activism on socials man.

Cause most of the “we gotta burn it down, we need a new system” folks won’t bust a grape.

This is probably true and it took literally two days of mildly fucked airports to break these babies
not enough chatter about how frequently members fly and how attacking airport capacity directly affects them in a way that cutting SNAP does not

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

Agents then handcuff him—before putting in ambulance with his child.
