it is absolutely true that "the gospel is political but not partisan" insofar as per se support for a given political party is not the content of the gospel
but if that becomes "one party supports pepper spraying the baby, so you can't talk about that or you're being partisan" we should all go home

I just spent nearly two weeks surrounded by people speaking (multiple) different languages than me and it was utterly fantastic.
It must be such a sad, pathetic little existence to be so closed off to the beautiful diversity of...reality.

Things are pretty grim out there what with the downfall of the constitutional order and the ramped up regime consolidation, but at least we got new nine inch nails last week.
I'm not sure if I have plans to watch the Tron movie (Leto plus Disney? 🤢), but the soundtrack can get it.

I'm reading Marie-Dominique Chenu's dissertation on contemplation, and it's driving home just how psychological analogy pilled I've become, because I keep wanting to grab his shoulders and say, "Okay, now make the trinitarian connection explicit!"
