After giving DHS a 14-day notice, I FINALLY got inside the DTLA detention center and field office.

This summer, it held 300+ people a day. Today, there were just 2.

ICE and DHS are hiding the truth and blocking real oversight. We demand answers, access, and accountability.

Unless Trump appears on tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of pages, it would be pretty easy for a very small team to glance through the documents to see what each mention is.

So why did it take 1,000 people to scan for and scrub Trump's name?

Bondi and Patel know. Trump does too.

Skeptics Reminder: Sidney Powell plead guilty in Fulton County, Georgia, where state prosecutors alleged she, and 19 others, were part of a conspiracy to overturn Trump’s 2020 loss in the state. I wonder if that's why Texas 2024 election results look like this...

This is what happens when the people, esp Peter Navarro, setting trade policy think tariffs fix everything. They don't pay attention to how tariffs actually work, slap tariffs on vital inputs, & throttle any hope at manufacturing growth.

U.S. manufacturing contracted for a fifth straight month in July and factory employment dropped to the lowest level in five years amid tariffs that have raised prices of imported raw materials.

This is the most intense tsunami footage I've ever seen.

It purportedly shows the tsunami from the 29 July Mw 8.8 quake in Kamchatka, Russia, filmed in that same region.

Hand counting paper voting records to make sure they match what the vote-counting computers report isn't radical; it's practical.

Retaining and preserving those records wouldn't be a requirement unless there may be valid reasons to check the receipts. 📄

More and more Trump supporters are starting to realize the damage his tariffs are doing to the country. Everything is getting more expensive, even products made in the U.S.

Trump’s trade war is a total disaster.

The thing that stands out here is so many Dems run campaigns terrified of (and thus buying into) the Fox News framing.

Mamdani is rightly mocking that framing as ridiculous and it resonates. He's not running scared. He's running proud of who he is and what he stands for.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

Last year the FTC acted to make it easier for consumers to cancel misleading subscriptions, adopting key parts of my Consumer OPT-IN Act.

This ruling is more bad news for consumers — but I'm reintroducing my bill next week to stop these shady subscription scams once and for all.
Court blocks FTC ‘click to cancel’ rule designed to ease unsubscribing
The rule, unveiled by the Federal Trade Commission in the Biden era, would have made it easier to cancel subscriptions and was due to be enforced from July 14.
