Absolutely agree. I knew this older man in college who was all like "oh I ALWAYS have my gun on me when I go places that way if there's a shooter I can take them out" like??? You can't guarantee anything but also how stupid are you
People who are pro-unfettered -access-to-guns are only that way because they never think they could ever be victims to the violence they perpetuate. It never occurs to them, the reality of what they've built. Guns (even at a mere ownership level) are a tool of power and intimidation for them.
