its like he’s still here
Won't see a prettier goal on a powerplay, what a pass from Stutzle to set up Tkachuk.

Ottawa's first PP goal in eight games, they were 0/19.

"benefit MEN" what the fucking fuck
Instead of protecting Canadians from scams, Mark Carney’s Liberals are planning to develop a framework for stablecoins after crypto billionaires spent big to buy one in the United States.

The government claims it will “benefit men and youth by improving prosperity and good governance.” 🫠
Budget promises to introduce framework for Canadian dollar-backed cryptocurrency | CBC News
The Liberal government is committing to roll out new legislation to ensure some digital currencies are secure and stable enough for consumers and businesses to use.

micah mccurdy i love you
Here's a thread of some scattered thoughts about Jordan Spence, first star of last night's Ottawa win over Utah. He is a very good and very unusual player, which is to say: my favourite kind of player.

Think of all the city facilities and services that are being underfunded and left to decline, decay and crumble; but our 🤡 mayor and council majority eagerly hand over scarce tax dollars to the Taggarts to subsidize exurbs like Tewin and to OSEG to rip out stuff tax dollars just built 10 years ago
Breaking:

Lansdowne 2.0 has been approved by council. Final voting: 15-10

kinda insane that "rude" posts are hidden by default and you can only change that by going into the advanced moderation settings
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

I am also hearing the league says this is the first step to reach its eventual goal of “centralized line-ups”

All positions will just be played by me as I run back and forth really fast on the field for both clubs

This will replace the need for individual players and save the league millions.
🚨 BREAKING 🚨

Per James Larsen, all 8 #UFL GMs have been let go, including Stallions GM Paul Roell.

The league will be moving to a centralized front office serving all 8 teams moving forward, replacing the need for individual GMs.

The Roell era comes to an end in Birmingham after just one season.

man who scratches good players for being short wonders why good players weren’t playing tonight
Travis Green on his team's play tonight.

"We didn't have a lot of good players tonight, to be honest."

"I thought we hung in there, I thought we defended fairly well. But we spent a lot of time in our zone the first two periods because we weren't playing well enough."
