2023 Ottawa Senators goaltending truther

Mostly argue about hockey with people that are wrong.
This being a mind blowing play in basketball really drives home why I will never get basketball

Nights like tonight remind me why I chose my handle on here. That 4th goal was playoff vibes in the CTC

#Sens earn points in 11 of 12 games. Bruins seven-game win streak ends.
Stützle hits the empty net after hitting the post on an earlier attempt. 5-3 #Sens @hockeyhotstove.bsky.social

Love missing puck drop taking the dedicated Sens bus. Crazy idea here...maybe they should leave earlier? This is way too common.

How does my bus make 1 stop before getting to me and is 15-30 minutes late every game?

I miss the pre-salary cap days when people just cared about one of their favorite players being signed and didn't talk about if someone was living up to their contract when assessing their game.

Anyways, super pumped to have Pinto locked up for his prime.

Ullmark was great tonight. The rest of the Sens gave up after the first.

Taking the Senate shuttle tonight and thinking about how weird it is that after 30 years of playing outside of the city the Sens have never organized their own shuttles to games. They really fumbled the Sens bar in the market.

Imagine if we went back to 2020 and we were told our first round pick would be 1 point behind Lafreniere on the season in 5 years.

We would all be ecstatic before we even heard that it was Ridley Grieg we were hearing about.

Crazy how well this team has done with the goaltending it's received for most of the year. We are one of the best teams in the league WITH terrible goaltending.

Imagine if we consistently got what we have gotten the last two games?

Thinking back to two weeks ago when Buffalo fans were peacocking. Detroit also on its way to its rightful place in the basement.

I miss when the Sens used to clean the rink. It's so damn dirty

Hope @ianmendes.bsky.social and the rest of the Sens execs are aware of how alienated season ticket holders feel this year.

This threads a great example of what being cheap does, even after the best season in ages.

I propose all fans and broadcasters refer to Cozens as "Cuz" when speaking and Cousins as Cousins to avoid confusion.

I'll never understand why the NHL is A-OK with hits from behind behind the goal line but not anywhere else.

Like that's DEFINITELY a penalty and a bad hot, but they let that shit fly behind the net all the time
November 8, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Remember when all the draft experts said how dumb the Sens were for taking Sanderson instead of Drysdale?

Really goes to show that we should all shut up when we overreact to drafts day of.

Stutzle with a one timer goal?! He's a totally new man lately.

More than doubled his scoring rate just by changing his damn tape job 😂
